About Us

STARK is a defense technology company revolutionizing the way autonomous, unmanned systems are deployed across domains. We design, develop, and manufacture high-performance platforms that are software-defined, mass-scalable, and cost-effective—giving NATO and its allies a decisive edge in the most contested environments.

We are focused on delivering deployable capabilities that work on the frontline now, not future promises. In a time of rising threats, STARK is bolstering the technological edge of NATO Allies and their Partners to deter aggression and defend democracy in Europe.

About the team

As we expand our footprint, you will also serve as a key enabler to the Director of Operations in scaling our regional presence, supporting the growth of our supply chain and production capabilities across the Nordics.

Your mission

Reporting directly to the Director of Operations for the Nordics, you will be a pivotal hire for our Stockholm-based entity. You will bridge the gap between high-level operational strategy and tactical execution. This role requires a versatile project management professional who can coordinate the delivery of live demonstrations and trials with military partners, as well as platform adaptation programmes.

Responsibilities

  • Exercise & Demonstration Delivery: Take full ownership of the planning, logistics, and execution of field exercises and technology demonstrations with military partners, ensuring our systems meet the rigorous demands of the end-user.
  • Platform Adaptation Execution: Project manage aspects of modification programmes for hardware and software, ensuring that these efforts meet timelines and KPIs. This would involve coordinating with internal and external specialist teams and finding creative solutions to roadblocks.
  • Nordic Operational Support: Support the Director of Operations in identifying and establishing regional production opportunities and building resilient supply chain relationships across the Nordic region. You would act as a bridge between STARK teams and production partners.
  • Training Support and Delivery: Coordinate with engineering and flight teams to curate and deliver training on our platforms with miltiary end users. This would involve managing the training schedule and organising all aspects of courses from logistics and accommodation to hardware availability.

Qualifications

  • The Ideal Profile: We are looking for a high-energy professional, likely in a mid-level management stage of their career, who combines a "boots on the ground" military mindset with commercial project management expertise.
  • Military Experience (Priority): Prior service in the Nordic Armes Forces is highly desirable. We value the operational perspective and leadership skills gained through military service.
  • Project Management: Proven experience in project delivery. You should be comfortable navigating ambiguity and managing technical workstreams from concept to delivery and be able to apply tested project management techniques.
  • Manufacturing & Supply Chain: Experience in manufacturing environments or managing supply chain operations is a distinct advantage.
  • Operational Grit: You must be comfortable working at a fast pace and have a genuine desire to improve how we operate. We want someone who will challenge the status quo to find more efficient ways of working without compromising quality.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. You must be able to interface effectively with both engineering teams and military stakeholders and have the ability to build trusted relationships that can endure high-pressure situations.
  • Location: Candidates must be willing to live and work in Stockholm, with a willingness to travel as required across the Nordics and to various testing sites. Expect to travel about 30% of the time, with higher travel intensity during exercises or demonstrations.

Security Requirements

Security Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain and maintain Swedish Security Clearance at the required level.

At STARK, we are building the future of European security. If you have a background in the Swedish Army and the project management skills to deliver complex technology to the front line, we want to hear from you.
